Emily Parker-Morse
VP & Practice Manager
Emily (aka Parker) obtained her BS from Becker College in 2004 with a degree in Veterinary Science with Concentration of Clinical Medicine. All throughout high school and college she was an avid volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and other various human and animal shelters. After completing college she went on to work for local veterinary hospitals and her last job of almost two decades was for an emergency and specialty hospital. Through her years as a CVT she has gained a large variety of knowledge in veterinary medicine and has worked with hundreds of different Veterinarians learning innovative ways of working in the field.
After being in the veterinary industry for over 25 years and after the pandemic, veterinary prices started to rise and she saw a need to help people keep their pets in the face of finances or euthanasia. As one of the founders of Love is Life Veterinary Clinic, Emily was asked by many people; "Why a non-profit instead of a for profit-clinic"? Her answer is "I want to work for a cause and not a company or a corporation".
Emily knows the challenges ahead but states that she feels very confident in the board and founders that Love is Life Veterinary Clinic will aid in many services for the community. She also feels the community will give back in helping with donations and support for the clinic.
